What a year
this has been for Tonara! Being included in Italy’s Panorama "Top 10 startups of 2011" provided us with a great finish to an incredible start.

It’s hard to believe it has been only three months since we launched the Tonara app onstage at TechCrunch Disrupt. It has been a rollercoaster since then, with unbelievable international feedback.
Tonara has captured the imagination of some of the biggest media outlets in the world – from CNN (“Startup stars”) to the New York Times (“original”) – as well as the non-English speaking markets: Spain’s El Confidencial called Tonara “an amazing project with a future that shows that not everything is invented, there is still much to be done”, and leading blogs from Germany and France claimed to be “blown away” by Tonara.
Looking forward to 2012, we expect it to get even better. After successfully playing the first-ever all-Tonara concert, in Washington Square Park in New York, next year will see many more concerts where Tonara will take the place of traditional sheet music (apologies to all those page turners who will now go back to rehearse).
Also, we will be expanding our repertoire to include Rock, Pop and Jazz favorites. Very cool new features are about to be introduced, and for the Classical music lovers, we will include pieces for woodwind instruments and many others.
What would YOU like to see in Tonara in 2012? We'd love to hear your suggestions at the Tonara forum!
